Do you sometimes have trouble staying focused on the work at hand?

Do you tend to feel frazzled, as if there is just so little time, yet so many things you must do?

Then take a few moments today to set your intention for what you would LIKE to have happen.

For example, if you are working on a query or an article, and it just isn't going well, find a quiet place to relax for a few moments.

Take a few deep breaths and let your mind clear.

Slowly, set your intention for this project - either in your head or out loud - to yourself.

If you're writing an article you might say, "I will now write this article clearly and easily. And I will enjoy the writing." Repeat this intention to yourself a couple of times.

Take another deep breath, then move to your writing desk, or wherever you write, and start on your article.

Relax and stay focused on the article itself, immediately letting go of thoughts of anything else that may enter your mind.

The key to setting your intention and having it work for you is to be in a relaxed state of mind when you set the intention.

As you start writing, keep that intention in your mind. Breathe slowly and stay relaxed as you write.

As you're writing, remind yourself of how much you love the writing process and how easy it really is. Stay relaxed and let the writing flow.

Any time you're getting results that you DON'T want, stop and take the time to set your intention for the result you DO want. Do this in a relaxed state of mind and you'll be amazed at the results.
